The Cotter Warriors basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Viola Longhorns to 37 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Omaha for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 11. Cotter will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-40 league win over Deer (Deer, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

The Longhorns (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Panthers come into the 1A Region 2 contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Norfork prevailed over Flippin (Flippin, AR), 31-24, in a non-league contest.
