Texas High School Basketball - Roma tops Donna
November 10, 2023: Donna, TX 78537 Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Donna Redskins (Donna, TX), 42-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Roma upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX) to play the Bloodhounds in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Bloodhounds come into the bout with a record of 1-1. St. Joseph Academy lost 38-31 in their recent non-league bout against McAllen (McAllen, TX)
Next up, the Redskins play the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Donna will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Javelinas come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 58-17 non-league loss to Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX).
