November 10, 2023: Chugiak, AK 99567 In Friday's non-league challenge, the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) ice hockey team bounced the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), by a margin of 7-1.
The Hawks now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Valley for a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 11. Houston will clash with a Wolf Pack team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 0-2.
The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Wasilla tipped Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.
