Shelton Chargers (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shelton upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Grapevine Faith Christian lost 67-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Midland Christian (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Covenant Classical will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
