In Friday's non-league match, the host Vanguard Knights football squad scored a big 35-0 victory over the River Ridge Royal Knights.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Lake Wales Highlanders (Lake Wales, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 18. Vanguard will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 11-0 record after their 34-10 non-league win over Auburndale (Auburndale, FL).
