The Sequoyah Chiefs football team (Canton, GA), was beaten 28-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA)

The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Red Elephants come into the non-league challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Gainesville achieved victory over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA), 51-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Chiefs now sport a 5-6 record.
