Georgia High School Basketball - Mill Creek holds off South Gwinnett
November 11, 2022: Snellville, GA 30078 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) and the host South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), saw Mill Creek's basketball squad hold off South Gwinnett by a tally of 40-39.
With the victory, Mill Creek improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to West Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 15. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. West Forsyth lost 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
Next up, the Comets confront the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 21. South Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
