Texas High School Basketball - Pearce nips Pine Tree
November 11, 2022: Longview, TX 75608 Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), 43-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pearce upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Melissa (Melissa, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 12. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Melissa won 51-20 in their recent non-league bout against ILTexas Arlington (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Pirates play the Carlisle Indians (Price, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Pine Tree will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 72-32 non-league loss to Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX).
