Alabama High School Basketball - Bessemer City overwhelmed by Sumter Central
November 11, 2023: York, AL 36925 The Sumter Central Jaguars basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Bessemer City Tigers to 43 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarke County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 14.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Wenonah triumphed over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL), 68-66, in a non-league contest.
