November 11, 2023: D'Iberville, MS 39532 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL) and the host D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS), saw Williamson's basketball squad hold off D'Iberville by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Williamson improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Baker (Mobile, AL) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Baker won 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Biloxi (Biloxi, MS)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. D'Iberville will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Hancock (Kiln, MS).
