November 11, 2023: Amherst, TX 79312 Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Amherst Bulldogs (Amherst, TX), 51-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Crosbyton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chiefs host Meadow (Meadow, TX) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Meadow won 61-47 in their recent non-league bout against All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the All Saints Episcopal School Patriots (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Amherst will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 61-47 non-league loss to Meadow (Meadow, TX).
