November 11, 2023: Laredo, TX 78046 John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host United South Panthers (Laredo, TX), 55-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, John Paul II upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lancaster won 60-52 in their recent non-league bout against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. United South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 52-49 non-league loss to Harlan (San Antonio, TX).
