November 11, 2023: Jonesboro, GA 30236 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) and the visiting Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), saw Mt. Zion's basketball squad hold off Stone Mountain by a tally of 40-34.
With the victory, Mt. Zion improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Riverdale (Riverdale, GA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 14. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Riverdale won 45-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Drew (Riverdale, GA)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Stone Mountain will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
