Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), 21-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Blades in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Blades go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
