The John Paul II Guardians basketball team scored 83 points and limited the visiting Gloria Deo Academy Lions to 46 in the Guardians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Guardians now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Great Hearts Western Hills for a non-league game on Friday, November 14. John Paul II will face a Spartans squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Faith Academy (Victoria, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
