Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars (Winona Lake, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), 41-22 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lakeland Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars host South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN) to face the Trailblazers in a Hoosier Plains contest on Thursday, November 13. The Trailblazers go into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Comets confront the Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland contest, on Friday, November 14. Eastern will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 70-8 league loss to Carroll (Flora, IN).
