In Tuesday's non-league battle, the Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS) basketball squad held off the host Provine Rams (Jackson, MS), by a count of 45-39.

With the victory, Murrah advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Forest Hill (Jackson, MS) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Forest Hill lost 53-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Canton (Canton, MS)
