Texas High School Basketball - Tyler nips Abilene
November 12, 2021: Tyler, TX 75702 Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX), 44-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Tyler upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 13. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Wakeland won 61-11 in their recent non-league bout against Benbrook (Benbrook, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 13. Abilene will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 61-11 non-league loss to Wakeland (Frisco, TX).
