Tomball Cougars (Tomball, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tomball upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to West Brook (Beaumont, TX) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 13. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 5-0. West Brook won 56-20 in their recent non-league bout against MacArthur (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the King Panthers (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 13. Aldine will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 40-25 non-league loss to Klein Cain (Houston, TX).
