The Marshall Rams basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Carroll Tigers to 50 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Grande City for a non-league contest on Friday, November 12. Marshall will battle a Rattlers team coming off a 43-34 non-league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-0.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, MacArthur nudged Cigarroa (Laredo, TX), 48-41, in a non-league contest.
