Mississippi High School Basketball - Choctaw Central fells West Jones
November 12, 2022: Laurel, MS 39443 Choctaw Central Warriors (Philadelphia, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS), 56-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Choctaw Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Germantown (Madison, MS) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 16. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 16. West Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
