Texas High School Basketball - East Central holds off Holmes

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) and the host Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), saw East Central's basketball squad hold off Holmes by a tally of 78-71.

With the victory, East Central improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to O'Connor (Helotes, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 15. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. O'Connor won 59-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Anderson (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 17. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 69-37 non-league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX).
