Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS), 46-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Starkville upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Greenwood (Greenwood, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
