Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the host North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA), saw Mount Vernon's basketball squad wallop North Springs by a count of 89-45.

With the victory, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Business Engineering Science Tech (Atlanta, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Business Engineering Science Tech lost 74-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Douglass (Atlanta, GA)
