Texas High School Basketball - Floydada fells Kress
November 12, 2022: Floydada, TX 79235 Floydada Whirlwinds (Floydada, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX), 36-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Floydada upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Whirlwinds travel to Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 15. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lorenzo won 52-31 in their recent non-league bout against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX)
Next up, the Kangaroos play the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Kress will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 70-45 non-league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
