Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX), 51-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Willowridge upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 12. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Pasadena Memorial lost 51-30 in their recent non-league bout against Randle (Richmond, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Randle Lions (Richmond, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Sweeny will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, TX).
