The Village Tech Viper Squid basketball team scored 86 points and limited the host Bland Tigers to 65 in the Viper Squid non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Viper Squid now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Brazos Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, November 14. Village Tech will confront a Eagles team coming off a 42-38 non-league loss to Richards (Richards, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
