In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines basketball team scored a big 75-48 triumph over the Porter Cowboys.

The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mission (Mission, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Mission smashed Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX), 45-39, in a non-league contest.
