Arkansas High School Basketball - Emerson overwhelms West Side Christian
November 12, 2024: El Dorado, AR 71730 The Emerson Pirates basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host West Side Christian Warriors to 32 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Spring Hill for a non-league game on Friday, November 15. Emerson will confront a Bears team coming off a 42-39 non-league loss to Glen Rose (Malvern, AR). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, West Side Christian falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hermitage (Hermitage, AR) to confront the Hermits in a non-league game on Friday, November 15. The Hermits go into the game with a record of 0-1. Hermitage lost 57-49 in their recent non-league game against Crossett (Crossett, AR)
