November 12, 2024: Meadville, MS 39653 Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS), 53-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Franklin County advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Thursday, November 14. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 1-1. Enterprise lost 51-26 in their recent non-league match against Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS)
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Gibson for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 19. Wilkinson County will face a Blue Waves squad coming off a 51-46 non-league win over Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS). The Blue Waves record now stands at 1-3.
