November 12, 2024: Garden Grove, CA 92840 St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy improves its record to 17-18 on the season. The Warriors travel to Reseda (Reseda, CA) to face the Regents in a non-league test on Thursday, November 14. The Regents go into the test with a record of 18-3. Reseda won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Victor Valley (Victorville, CA)
The Argonauts now own a 17-21 record.
