In Wednesday's league contest, the host Newman International Academy Warriors basketball team scored a big 79-2 triumph over the International Leadership of Texas Lancaster-DeSoto Eagles.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against ILTexas Arlington (Arlington, TX). The Eagles go into the TCSAAL contest with a 2-1 record.
