Alabama High School Basketball - Wilcox Central tops Calhoun
November 13, 2021: Letohatchee, AL 36047 Wilcox Central Jaguars (Camden, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL), 52-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wilcox Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Central (Hayneville, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 16. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Central won 34-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lanier (Montgomery, AL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, November 18. Calhoun will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 37-32 non-league loss to Jemison (Jemison, AL).
