Indiana High School Basketball - River Forest ripped by North Newton

November 13, 2021: Morocco, IN 47963

The North Newton Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting River Forest Ingots to 23 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kouts for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 16. North Newton will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 65-38 non-league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.

The Ingots (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Cherokees enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Morgan Township triumphed over West Central (Francesville, IN), 64-45, in a non-league contest.
