Game Summary
On this beautiful afternoon for futbol we looked to be evenly matched with the Seahawks. Though they out-offensed us in the first period (9 attempts, 5 on goal to our lone shot on goal from Aaliyah) we kept them off the board until the 19th minute, and they got another with six to go for a 2-0 lead at the half. They added a third with 8 minutes gone in the second, and a final goal 5 minutes later. Aaliyah voided the shutout on a PK with 19 minutes remaining. This was another physical contest, with players on both sides getting hard shots to the head and body, and Jalee was sidelined in a scrum near their goal. Lidia did well with 6 saves in her first start in goal, but we finished with just 3 shots, 2 on goal, while South Walton burned us with 10 shots on frame in 19 attempts.
