Alabama High School Basketball - Madison Academy knocked off by Mountain Brook
November 13, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35223 The Mountain Brook Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Madison Academy Mustangs to 37 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thompson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 14. Mountain Brook will meet a Warriors team coming off a 63-48 non-league win over Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, St. John Paul II ran past Madison County (Gurley, AL), 68-53, in a non-league contest.
