November 13, 2023: Woodland Hills, CA 91364 The Whittier Cardinals basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Taft Toreadors to 45 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 15. Whittier will battle a Bears team coming off a 39-38 non-league win over JW North (Riverside, CA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
The Toreadors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against JW North (Riverside, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, JW North was defeated by Warren (Downey, CA), 39-38, in a non-league contest.
