Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) and the visiting Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), saw Central's basketball squad hold off Belvidere North by a tally of 43-41.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL) to confront the Chargers in a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Chargers come into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Blue Thunder (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
