Arkansas High School Basketball - Salem fells Kingston
November 13, 2023: Salem, AR 72576 Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kingston Yellowjackets (Kingston, AR), 47-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Greyhounds host Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-2.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Oark Hornets (Oark, AR) in a 1A Region 1 East bout, on Monday, November 27. Kingston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 61-20 non-league loss to Western Yell County (Havana, AR).
