Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest Academy can't hold off Lake Forest
November 13, 2023: Lake Forest, IL 60045 The Lake Forest Scouts basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys to 63 in the Scouts non-league triumph on Monday.
The Scouts now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk Grove for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 15. Lake Forest will battle a Grenadiers team coming off a 42-17 non-league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 0-1.
The Caxys (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Guilford nudged Antioch (Antioch, IL), 56-41, in a non-league contest.
