November 13, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90063 Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), 49-5 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Torres upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Toros host Belmont (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Sentinels come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Belmont lost 60-20 in their recent league bout against Mendez (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 53-49 non-league win over Legacy (South Gate, CA).
