In Thursday's non-league match, the host Picayune Maroon Tide basketball squad scored a nice 47-36 victory over the St. Martin Yellow Jackets.

With the victory, Picayune upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Maroon Tide host Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 18. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-2. Pass Christian lost 66-60 in their recent non-league match against Biloxi (Biloxi, MS)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forrest County Agricultural for a non-league contest on Monday, November 17.
