In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Brownstown Central Braves basketball team scored a good 57-45 triumph over the Southwestern Rebels.

The Braves (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Paoli (Paoli, IN). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Paoli was dropped by Lanesville (Lanesville, IN), 38-36, in a non-league match.
