North Carolina High School Basketball - Calvary Christian knocks off Union Grove Christian
November 13, 2025: Lexington, NC 27295 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Calvary Christian Cougar basketball squad scored a nice 39-21 victory over the Union Grove Christian Patriots.
With the victory, Calvary Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougar host Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC) to face the Chargers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Patriots now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Day School for a non-league contest on Friday, November 14. Union Grove Christian will battle a Cougars team coming off a 60-36 non-league win over Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
