In Thursday's non-league battle, the Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) basketball squad topped the visiting Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (Mission, TX), by a count of 53-35.

With the victory, Edinburg advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bobcats host Jay (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, November 14. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 1-2. Jay won 37-16 in their recent non-league battle against Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX)
