November 13, 2025: New Deal, TX 79350 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Lubbock Christian Eagles basketball squad scored a tight 51-44 victory over the New Deal Lions.
With the victory, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Floydada (Floydada, TX) to face the Whirlwinds in a non-league match on Friday, November 14. The Whirlwinds enter the match with a record of 0-1. Floydada lost 59-31 in their recent non-league match against Sundown (Sundown, TX)
The Lions now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brownfield for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 18. New Deal will confront a Cubs team coming off a 44-32 non-league loss to Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 0-2.
