The Madison Mavericks basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions to 40 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Thursday.

Next, the Mavericks clash with the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 14. Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
