Louisiana High School Basketball - Ruston holds off Benton
November 14, 2022: Benton, LA 71006 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) and the host Benton Tigers (Benton, LA), saw Ruston's basketball squad hold off Benton by a tally of 41-36.
With the victory, Ruston improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Minden (Minden, LA) to confront the Crimson Tide in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 15. The Crimson Tide come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Tigers confront the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 28. Benton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 41-25 non-league loss to Bastrop (Bastrop, LA).
