The Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 76-71 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Greater Cabarrus Stallions got by Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 74-52, in a non-league test.

The Comets now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 21.
