Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier Christian Academy overwhelmed by Cherokee Bluff
November 14, 2023: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 The Cherokee Bluff Bears basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Lanier Christian Academy Lightning to 59 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banks County for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Cherokee Bluff will battle a Leopards team coming off a 62-48 non-league loss to East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 0-1.
The Lightning (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Morgan County triumphed over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
